We run an architecture office where projects are developed with extensive knowledge, covering their various phases, dynamics and interactions and with a special focus on the health sector. In each challenge, we seek to match ambition and reality, with dedication and rigor. We accompany clients step-by-step along their customer journey and we dedicate our time and know-how to the development of new ideas and solutions, tailored to fully satisfy their expectations. Our background comes from different experiences, from solid paths in large architecture offices and civil construction companies. In 2018 our paths crossed in the healthcare field, thus marking the beginning of our professional connection. Since then, and with increasingly evident synergies, the market has challenged us with new joint projects. Teamwork, complementarity and customer feedback strengthened our partnership and in 2018 we founded LC.IC. Luísa Cabral graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Oporto (FAUP) in 1991. She began her professional activity in the field of construction work, having collaborated with large civil construction companies, such as Edifer Construções and Costa e Carvalho Construções, as project coordinator and construction planner, in a wide range of typologies. This professional experience brought her activity a transversal knowledge from the initial project to the actual construction, by providing her with a very clear vision of the needs and rigour regarding the global management of a project. Among the many projects developed within the scoop of coordination and preparation of the construction work, Luísa would like to highlight: in the so-called área of services the enterprise Casino Troia Hotel (namely its Conference Centre Centre and outdoor arrangements); in the health sphere the Family Health Unit UCSP in Santo António da Charneca, Barreiro; also the office park Alfrapark, in Amadora; and the housing development Talaíde (400 dwellings), in Oeiras. From 2000 onwards, she pursued her path individually, developing the coordination and preparation of construction in parallel to the project management discipline, most particularly in the sectors of health, housing and services. In 2018, she founded LC.IC with Inês Cruz, focusing their activity on the full exercise of architectural projects, in the most diverse typologies, with special emphasis on the health area. Inês Cruz started her Architecture course at the Artistic School of Oporto (ESAP) and completed her training at the Lisbon Faculty of Architecture (UTL) in 1994. She worked at renowned architecture firms, such as Nuno Leónidas Arquitetos, and above all Risco, where she settled for 15 years. Inês also developed several other projects, on her own and in partnership with other architects, pitching for projects in diverse areas such as Health, Commerce, Services and Housing.
She was awarded the interior design and choice of furniture project for Hospital de Vila Franca de Xira, after winning a competition launched by Grupo Mello Saúde. In 2018, she founded LC.IC joining her expertise with Luísa Cabral, so they could both develop new architectural projects, with special emphasis on the Health sector.

Inês Cruz
At Risco she gained the experience and expertise to develop large-scale works, in all their different phases, from design to construction, including team coordination and construction monitoring. Among the many projects developed at Risco, two stand out: Dragão Football Stadium in Oporto; and Hospital da Luz in Lisbon, a project which includes the original building (2004 – 2007) followed by an extension (2015-2018).
